Default $700 for AEV rear camera....

Is it me or is this price out of this world? Starting to see why so many dislike AEV

American Expedition Vehicles - Brute Kit, V8 HEMI, Aftermarket Jeep Conversions, Products, Wheels, Accessories and Highline Kits for Jeeps (TJ, JK, WK, XK).

Saw that too when they announced it on facebook. I wouldn't buy it for $700

I think they put a lot into development of their products while production and finish of the products don't justify the prices.

Well, at least it gave me an idea where to mount my backup camera. $700 is way to much. $350 would be a more reasonable price.

There's actually more than that. I mean they connect the signal for the camera directly to the shift switch instead of just tapping into the cable for the back-up lights. Also the autodimm mirror and stuff plus the pro-cal style programmer.
It all makes for a cleaner installation.
But still wouldn't pay that much.

That's just stupid, $650! I've never liked any of the AEV products. I bought one of those 170* flush mount backup camera on ebay. It came with the hole saw which I used to drill into my Ace rear bumper. It's a perfect fit and functions great and best part $19.13 shipped
