Unhappy 2007 Jeep Fuse 28 keeps blowing

Two years ago my clutch throwout bearing broke and took out the rest of the clutch with it. Which on its own stunk because I had just replaced it 2 years prior after 200k miles.
Got it replaced and about a week later, while coming up to a stop light, shifting down with clutch depressed, the Jeep died.
Couldnt start it and had it towed. Mechanic found fuse #28 blown, a 10amp fuse.
Picked it up and drove it 4 days and bam... did it again, while down shifting on the highway, clutch depressed. Barely glided over to breakdown lane.
Husband directed me how to replace that fuse over the phone and it immediately blew it again. We tried a 15amp and it started and I got home.

It went back to the mechanics for 2 days, they said they checked all wiring for the new clutch, nothing bent, pinched or broken. They tested the jeep, couldnt get it to repeat.
they ran it again and it didnt draw more than a few amps on that position. Said it could be the TPM or computer but its never done this in the 11 years I have owned the vehicle.
Next day they say it isnt blowing the fuse anymore and had me pick it up. They never said they found an issue, but something had to have been found, perhaps they took out the new clutch and inspected wiring etc.

Fast forward 2 years this exact month and the Jeep dies in the middle of the road on me. I take it to a new mechanic my boss trusts explicitly. He keeps it a couple days and says he is bringing it back to me at work. Its about 2 miles away. Then texts to say it died and he had to tow back to his shop. Two days later, again he is bringing the "fixed" Jeep back and again, he texts that it died in the exact same spot on the trip over to my office. Of course now he is stumped and actually cant even use the 15amp trick just to get it moved out of harms way.

I really dont know what to do except get rid of the thing but geez it stopped for 2 years and came back?
Yes the Jeep is old, yes it has 215k miles, but its my only vehicle and with the prices of used ones right now, I really do not want to buy another car.
