Default 2009 JK spark plugs.

So I just got done changing my plugs and wires about an hour total time spent. I was a bit reluctant at first after reading reviews online about how difficult, mainly the back passenger side, was to change. Are you kidding me, just who is the non mechanically inclined people writing these reviews. Granted I was born and raised in vehicle city, Flint, MI, and having been working on cars my entire life, but those may have been the easiest plugs I've ever changed. And it's running as smooth as can be, fires up instantly and idles amazingly nice.

If you don't mind me asking how many miles were on your jk at time of change. And also
Did you replace with original plugs and wires or aftermarket

Just over 60000 and I used the OEM champion plugs . The wires were aftermarket ones they had at O'Riley's.

I spent a ton of time reading about plugs and the consensus I came up with was the champion plugs worked best compared to many if the other plugs out there and after rebate they were $12 for all six! Can't beat that!

Is there any way you can post a video...I have looked, but the options are limited. I don't want to break anything. I'm attempting all of this for the first time.

You will do fine. Just take your time and do not or torque the new plugs. Use anti seize. Only one that was a slight slight issue was the one closest to firewall on passenger side. Like others found it best to go through the wheel well. Also, I zip tied the new wires to the old ones as I removed them so it would be easier to run the wires in the desired route. Only bc I have big meat hooks.
