Sorry, that's what I get for trying to post pictures from my iPhone.

But yeah, that's what I saw. Looks like a mic bezel. I wondered if it was some kinda breather vent at first when I looked on the passenger side and saw there was no similar device and the JK had a MyGIG in it.

I've asked my friend who works there to contact their parts department about getting me one as it's defiantly more elegant looking that a mic just stuck to the dash.

Yes, the 2010's do come with the mic pre-installed. I defintely want one for mine, TJT on here posted the part numbers a couple weeks ago. Here you go:

Looks like it's ~$100 for both parts

My 2010 didn't come with one of those.....

Depends on the radio your running. If you've got anything BUT the MyGIG then yes, there's a $250 module that you have to buy, not to mention paying to have your radio updated with StarScan to unlock it.

For those of us w/ MyGIG's is just a plug and play deal.


Does anyone know if this is a new Mic or just the old mic behind a trim piece? If it's the old mic I don't need to get a new one to do this mod.
