And by suspect I mean its very scratchy and just not up to par with any other audio selection (CD/Radio). Hard to listen to the good songs at a higher volume because of the quality.

You mentioned that you updated your radio (RES) with this uppdate. I just want to be clear, this update is not for the radio, but for the Uconnect external module itself. It doesn't do anything for the radio. With your builld date, did you only perform this update or have you had another one also done between now annd last year?
