2012 daystar lower dash switch panel
i got the daystar lower dash switch panel . it dosent even fit to get it in place . i know people complained about the shift boot hitting the switches but i couldnt even get the panel in place ...the bump out for the switches hit the plastic that surrounds the shifters wont even let me get it low enough to snap it in place ....i tried removing the console but it didnt help ...any suggestions??
got mine yesterday fits good i did find that after putting the daystar panel in place you must give it a little push to click it into place. If you look at the daystar pamel there are to raised bumps by the lower clips that must lock in for the panel to fit. Only other thing i had trouble with was getting out the factory one...

recieved a message from daystar today that to install in a 2012 with a manual transmission you have to remove the bezel that holds the shift boot .....how the heck do i do that ?

Wondering the same. Just ordered mine. looks like I will find out. But someone with a 11 or 12 must know. It I find anything I will let you know.
Edit:
If Daystar is talking about the right vehicle then i think its the entire center console.
If the manual is the same as the auto then the entire center console is over the top of the boot.
