I bought my first brand new vehicle a 2012 Jeep Jk 2dr sport basic( so I can mod it to what I want over the new few years) with no option and I would like to upgrade the radio a RES to A RES with Satelite radio and be able to hook up my ipod. And Would like to know the Parts and parts number need to do the swap so I can order the parts from the dealer I bought the Jeep from( which is 1.5hrs away and they will give me preferred customer price on parts) as the local dealer wants me to buy the 430 radio kit for $3100 so it doesn't volid my waranty they say.

I don't know a whole lot about radio options and warranty, but voiding your warranty? really? Quadratec and others have aftermarket options way cheaper and you can do yourself without a 3 hour round trip to the dealer. Just my 2 cents.
