I have a 2013 Wrangler JK and the set button on the steering wheel that shows the Direction & Temperature / MPG / DTE........does not always work, is this a problem anyone else has had and is there a solution?

 

All the functions on your multi-function stalks (headlights, windshield wipers) and all the buttons on the steering wheel, will run through the clockspring. I would suspect the issue would come down to the clockspring or the contact for that specific button. Seems like typically more than one thing will stop working., though that one button is probably used more than the others. Maybe it is more of an issue with the contact picking up when the button is being pressed??

Here is another oddity with it......When I turn the Jeep off and just turn on the power, not the engine, it will cycle thru with out any problem???? Now it is working normally,but I anticipate some of the same moving forward.
