2013 and PAC compatibility
I just wanted to post some information that may be helpful.
PAC does not currently support 2013 applications. Some websites besides theirs have this listed though. And many people have posted with success. My EVIC read "RadioOff" although the unit appeared to work.
I contacted PAC and this was their reply:
Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately, we have not yet been in 2013 applications for testing, so we do not list these vehicles as being compatible. I have had several people call or email with issues with various interfaces for the 2013 applications in Jeep, so it seems there may have been some software changes to the vehicles that may require some changes to our interfaces. We will not have further information until the 2013 applications have been tested and added to the PAC site.
So unfortunately I wont have SWC until they can confirm compatibility. I dont want things on the bus that havent been confirmed.
If/when anyone finds out otherwise, please update the thread.

they dont list the 2012 either...in some of their wiring & programming guides.
I just installed a CAN 2 & SWI-PS last week on my 2012 - works fine, set it up as a 2011 and it works fine.
I will say that PAC's documentation leaves quite a bit to be desired but i was able to figure it out.
the 2013 cant be any different than the 2012...which is apparently the same as the '13

I have a PAC unit in my 2013 to integrate my Kenwood DNX7190HD into the system. Works with all the steering wheel controls and is programmed just by turning a dial. I had the basic stereo HU before switching.
Are you using the new pac RP4-CH11 model with integrated steering wheel controls? I'm planning on doing the same but with a newer Kenwood model.
Im using the PAC C2A-CHY23 add an amp interface with my 2013 and after trying my second unit it seems to be working well so far. I bought one off ebay first (latest revision) and it worked for a day and then on the highway it triggered all my instrument warning lights, windshield wipers and TPMS and i couldn't get it to stop. I had to turn off the jeep, lock the doors, wait 10 mins and turn back on to get it to stop and that only worked for a short time before i couldn't get it to turnoff at all. Scary when you're going 70mph on the highway. I thought there might have been something wrong with that particular model because it smelled like burning electronics when i first hooked it up and some other folks were reporting that it worked for them with their 2013 with a similar setup. I ordered a new one off amazon, installed it and so far its been working without issue. Before i replaced it i called PAC and they gave me a similar response, saying it hasn't been tested with the 2013. The one that gave me problems was blue and the one that worked was black but both of then said they were version 1.46c.
