Good luck with the install - anything is better than stock - I'm using an aftermarket amp/HU so the Polks worked for me.

Looks stock, nice job!

I took mine out, but also did the dynamatting/polyfill/ light gasket to cut down on rattling.

You absolutely do not need to take it out but it is so simple that I cannot think of a reason not to take it out and be comfortable while working on it. Takes like 30 second to use a drill to remove the 6 bolts that hold it in.

Interesting..good to know, I had no idea it was so simple to get it out - it's true, it's not the most comfortable thing in the world installing them.

Where are you planning to install the amp?

You can mold it into the sound bar pretty easy enough...
