Default 2015 Speaker sizes??

Got my 2015 JKU a few weeks ago. The base stereo system is horrible. I'm trying to pick out new speakers. What size exactly is the tweeter? I also have tweeters in the sound bar. I'm replacing everything and adding amps and subs. Any help is appreciated.

I need to remember to keep an eye on this thread. I have a 2015 as well with the basic stereo setup and also think it sounds pretty awful. Will need to upgrade at some point in the future when I feel like spending the cash.

Thanks. Do you know what the mounting depth restrictions are for each location?

I have the Alpine factory system with the subwoofer and it is really good as is. Don't think it helps, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I have a 2013 and put JL Audio C3 separates in the front and in the soundbar. The tweeters installed in the stock location in front and in the soundbar mount within the same housing as the drivers. Changed the head unit to a Pioneer double DIN. Installed a 5 channel JL audio 1000 watt amp under the front passenger seat. A little big but fits perfectly under the seat and is not visible from to sides or backseat unless the seat is pulled all the way forward. Also swapped the stock 8" sub for a JL audio stealthbox. The box bolts to the body of the rig and has a 13" pancake woofer in it that runs 600 watts RMS. VERY happy with the switch, and sounds great. The stealth box is a little pricey but very worth it IMO.

I had a stealthbox in an old truck I had a few years ago. I was very impressed with it. I just dug out my old bazooka tube from storage. I'll probably use it for the time being. I saw from a post in another thread where the guy strapped one to his roll cage. I never thought of doing that. I wonder how it will sound.

GREAT choices. It will sound amazing for years. Can't beat JL Audio for a decent stereo system.
