Default 2nd antenna for a XM Radio

Has, can or does anyone run a 2nd antenna for their XM radio to improve reception?

I would like to know this as well. I have an Alpine stereo and it constantly comes and goes. Where I live we have alot of trees. I have a Sirius. The strange thing is when I drive in NYC it works flawlessly!
Where would you put the extra antenna and can you hook it up to the existing radio antenna?

Most cities have extra coverage that helps with building and such.
