The third brake light is addressed in this write-up. http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...r-tire-carrier

It's not that clear though, and I believe that it is specific for LōD. I tried looking at the pics of WOL's rig and it looks like he isn't running the 3rd brake light.

Not really addressed in that write up. I've seen that. My concern was more about plugs and I've found some. They should be here Friday.

I looked at this again and neither bumper does anything. The crossbar mounted in the top two holes where the tire carrier was comes in contact with the rubber bumper installed on the new swingarm. As a matter of fact once the swingarm is released you can grab the tailgate handle and open it completely letting the tailgate push the swingarm open and it never hits anything but the new rubber bumper.

Here are the new plugs installed.

I have enough plugs to do about 40 more tailgates. PM me if you want some.

I could use some of those plugs. I just posted my solution to the TF 3rd brake light and Rock Hard bumper over in the write up section.

Yeah I just cut mine - I can re-solder it later if I need it. I've run without my 3rd light for over a year now.
