So with that harness and camera, would the only other material needed be a fuse tap to power the camera? No cutting the factory wires at all? I assume once the radio is programmed...it will look for the camera when the tranny is shifted into reverse? Since I don't tow with my jeep, I want to have the camera mounted in the receiver hitch in a removable insert. Does it seem like this would be high enough to foe a decent view?

Definitely a rookie question here...how do you get the power from the tail light without cutting any wires? I don't want to give the warranty nazis any reason to blame me for future failures of the factory parts.
Thanks.
Thanks.

In the kit that is sold or the grand Cherokee and commander, I think there are two wires that are plugged into the back of the radio. Is this the camera video signal and power or do they have to tap the reverse light as well? I like the idea of using the trailer hitch wire but the two packages only come with 4 pin plugs...that's brakes, l/r blink and ground right? Which of these is used for reverse light power?
Thanks for the help.
