i am looking into the security bolts and have been running some ideas by my cousin who is helping.

Yes there are security bolts that you can purchase from Rigid that fit their specs so you don't have to go find some on your own somewhere.

In regards to the wiring, if you cut the wires somewhere near the top and install a plug connection on both ends, you can unplug your light from the top, unbolt your light and stick it in the back or the house.

I have quick disconnects on my lights, but that's because that is how I connected them into the wiring I had previous.

Attachment 524909Carolina Metal Masters make a locking nut for the light bars that looks really nice. Comes with the removal tool also. They make quality stuff, I recently bought a set of hand grips and really happy with their product.

All you need is a two lead cannon plug. It's extremely easy to do. Just crimping two wiresto make it completely removable. I like the idea or the locks but bottom line is thieves will figure out away. Especially pending what part of St. Louis your in.

Yeah, I know it's only a temporary detterent. I will def check out those Carolina MMs. Also gonna have to check connectors too.

Slipped on ice and jacked my knee up. Don't know if it's sprained or if I tore something....so mods will have to be postponed for now

Thanx for the suggestions

It's definitely just a deterrent...a buddies was stolen, they unbolted the brackets and took the whole setup, not just the light bar.
