Default Adding Factory Fog Lights - HELP!!!

I'm trying to add the Mopar fog light kit to my '08 X that came without factory fog lights. The directions show adding two wires to factory connector "D". The problem I have is that there are already wires of the same color and stripe in the locations the directions show to add the new ones.

Reading on a earlier post, a guy had the same problem and just removed the existing wires and put the new ones in.

Not sure what to do, any help would be great.

Thanks!!!

I just installed mine today as well. I just cut the wires a few inches from the D-shell connector and soldered the pigtail to the cut wires. The only catch is.......I have no idea when I'm going to have time to get to the dealer to have them activate the circuit so I'm just guessing it should work.

I've read that those wires end up dead ending somewhere in the harness. I've heard under the brake booster, and I've heard somewere in the front near the radiator. I would like to know where they actually go as well.

Computer controlled electrical system....you might have wired correctly but the computer has to be told to allow use of that circuit.

Just my two cents....
