Default Adding speakers

I do a lot of outdoor partying and hanging out and I use my jeep as an awesome audio system. How would I add some extra speakers to the stock system? If so how?

I'm in the process of adding 2 mtx wakeboard tower speakers to my rear rollbar. u can swivel them around to face out if you want. I ordered them on amazon for $79 I think. still waiting on them in the mail. I just started a thread on it if you want more info. you can splice your rear overhead speaker bar speakers if you don't have an amp but I would think you'd lose a lot of power. I have a 4 channel amp just going to run an extra set of speaker wires out if the rear 2 channels to power the wakeboard tower speakers with. my amp is plenty powerful enough to make them sound good

you could always get some marine speakers and flush mount them in your rear bumper or somewhere outside the vehicle too and run a switch to them. on the cheap side, you could always mount 6x9 boxes or other on the inside of your tailgate and just open it up too

not sure why they would sound weird with a top on? if the gain was up too high, you could turn it down or adjust your EQ
