Thumbs up Adding windshield pod lights, wiring problem

I have installed the lights, and the wiring. Connected all the ground wires, on the "pilot" wiring instructions there are two wires, one white, shows going too battery positive, and one red wire going to, parking/headlight + or switched power wire.
This is my problem, where is the best place to connect this wire?
I have been told it is to make sure I do not leave my aux lights on, there should be a beeping if I leave them on.
need help
Thanks

The red wire, far right is my problem. Where to connect?

I assume that there are more wires than just those two? Those are both power wires, there should be at least one ground wire and one wire to control the lights, so 4 wires total? What kind of switch is it? 1 position (on - off) or 2 position (on - off - on)? Based on how you explained the situation, it sounds like there are two ways to turn the lights on so I assume it is a 2 position switch. Can you provide a photo of the wiring instructions so we can see the whole setup? Without those details, can't say for sure what/were is the best to connect that wire.

Well that's an odd looking diagram that doesn't make sense to me at all. Regardless, i would see if connecting the red wire to your dash illumination wire will work since that is a 'switched power wire'. Easiest place I found to access that wire is pulling off your gauge cluster and looking for the gray wire with an orange strip. Mine was in the wiring harness in the upper right corner. That wire only gets power when you turn your headlights on.
