Default Aeroforce Gauge question

Recently installed my Aeroforce gauge. Now I'm getting random chimes and no lights on the dash telling me what it is. Anybody getting those too?

Also, just started to get some random failure to start too.

Any suggestions and is this related to the gauge install?

It could be related.

People without the AeroForce gauge get the random mystery chime, though.

Same with the no start.

The only thing you can do is leave the gauge unplugged for a while, and see if the behavior changes back to normal.

I've heard reports that the chime is a result of the gauge sending requests too quickly... Try turning down the rate and see if it helps.

Go to the memu, select data rate, choose a number between 1 and 6 (6 being slowest). For reference, 4 is about 10 scans per second.

Me neither. Have you ever had your not turn on when you started the Jeep? Once every few weeks, mine won't start, and I have to reach down and unplug/plug back in to get it to work.

Not sure why.

yup mine does that all the time.. well every few days or so.. i have to un plug then plug it back in for it to come on.. not sure why..
the only other thing i would like to be able to completely disable the tmps not just lower it... i heard they were working on that. then i could stop using the procal just to turn off that light..

Hmmm... I thought it could turn off TPMS. I've only used it to lower mine. Guess I'll need to modify the writeup I did earlier to reflect that.

Done and Done. I was looking under Cyclic Scan - didn't make much sense from a general data rate point of view. Went from 3 (default) to 4. Will report if I'm still getting mystery dings.

Thanks!
