Sounds like clock spring - if so, it is covered under recall. Had my 2007 JKU X covered earlier this year

Not covered under any recall but it was the clock spring, got it changed this morning and they ordered me a new horn too turns it was bad. Also I've had a bad binding noise in 4wd that I thought was my front drive shaft, nope, turns out my transfer case is shot, so they ordered a new one of those too. Thank God for warrenties!

In my situation, Airbag light meant Clockspring was out.

Good luck in getting Jeep to step up and replace anything under warranty

Good deal.

Your dealer is less of an ass than mine

Have the same Mastercraft seats, with no problem with dash lights.

But i didnt have the side impact air bags in the stock seats like you had

Chrysler and both Jeep dealerships in my area would cover my clockspring. The same part number used on the RHD vehicles in the recall. I bought the part and installed it myself.
