I've been looking into a shock sensor and also into proximity sensors to be wired into my factory alarm. Which of the two would you recommend in your experiences?

People have been stealing doors, airbags, and tires. I think the more logical choice would be 2 proximity sensors for my four door but then again I've read alot of issues with those also regarding adjustment. I dont take the doors off much but I keep the hard top off quite a bit so I just dont wont people just into the jeep so easily.

The shock sensor parts/wiring is $130 and the self install looks easy. I was thinking I could do that then add a firmware product that tracks the vehicle by gps send to my smartphone if stolen.

Any thoughts?
