Default Alarms with proximity sensors

Couldnt find anything when I searched, but who makes a good one? I heard the Viper 5901 is pretty good but thats it, and I think there must be more options out there. So what do you run and how well does it work? Pros and cons and all that good info if you could please

autopage C3 900 series with proximity sensors, hood pin sensors and remote start ... so if im topless and some one reaches in the alarm will go off and a tilt sensor. also if you pay extra you can get the same features as a northstar system

I just put a Viper 5902 in mine, and will be doing a prox. sensor, tilt sensor, glass break sensor and 2nd shock sensor, with window roll up modules, plus about a dozen or so sirens. Can't be too careful.

Recommendation wise, I would go with a Viper/Python/Clifford 2 way SST (1 mile) system with add on sensors to protect the vehicle as much as you can. And make sure it is installed by a reputable shop. Might cost a little more, but will pay for itself in the long run. Good luck!!!

i put in a viper 5901 with proximity sensor... works great ! installed it myself .. their are some new interfaces out that make installing alarms much much easier almost plug and play... i wouldn't try a alarm install before.. their is a thread on here about it .

heres what i got

viper 5901 remote start/alarm

-Xpresskit CHALL interfaces with jeep electronics

-Xpresskit CHTH2 t harness to connect alarm to jeep

cost about 270 that was for a two way viper 5901 remote start/motion sensor alarm

Did you buy it local or order it online from somewhere?

Thanks, ill check them out. How well does it work for you? To sensitive that anyone walking by sets it off? Not sensitive enough? Im more so looking for the proximity part of it.

I also installed the 5901 and installed power locks and prox sensor. As long as it is set right for exterior sensitivity you'll have no issues. The range on the 5901 is sick!
