Default Amber LED Lightbar Cover

I recently purchased a 20" hybrid light bar and I love it. It's dually switchable between the outer floods and the center spot beams. Currently, Blackbox Logistics does not has an amber lens cover for this light. My only question is: Has anyone fabricated a lens cover for this light or modified existing lens covers to fit this light bar???? The height of the front of the light is approximately 2 and 1/2 inches. There are also channels on the upper and lower front of the light bar to slide covers in and it came with black ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Check these.... They have 6" for $3 and 8" for $4

I'm running a 50" eBay light bar and a 12" light bar from Amazon... Both generic brand.

Those covers work for mine. I bought 2 6" ones for the bumper, and they snapped on with no issues.

For the price it wouldn't hurt to buy one and try

I've seen them on line and was not sure if they would work because of the light for which they are originally designed. I'll give it shot. Worse case scenario is that I can cut them to fit in the grooves on the front of the light bar.

Thanks and I'll let you know how it works out,

Default Super Bright LED Amber Light Covers

I ordered and recieved 3 amber light covers from Super Bright LED: One 8" and two 6". Shipment was pretty fast. The light covers are too big for my off sized light bar. My light bar from BlackBox Logistics is approximately 2.5" in hieight and most light bars are about 3". To make these work, I have two options: Drill holes in the clips and ziptie to the light bar or cut the clips off to the height to fit with in the front channels. I chose the first option because it was easier and I was worried that if I tried cut the plastic, I would mess it up. My pics are posted and I appologize for the crappy cell phone shots. Let me know what you guys think........

Default Vinyl

I wish I saw this before I ordered the slightly bigger lens covers. Vinyl would be easy to apply and I would not have the zip-ties making it look so unprofessional. The only question remaining is: Amber or 3000K Yellow?????? Open for opinions.

Ok here's a questions what are the different lighting conditions for the different colors like Amber, blue, green, red. I know red helps with your vision at night but what about the other colors or is it just for effects

The condition that I am trying to address is fog, which is why i was asking about amber or 3K yellow. I know you are right about the red. As far as the other colors are concerned, I am guessing those would be for effects.
