Where have you guys mounted anl fuse holders? I'm going to get one for my winch and looking for places to mount the holder.

I didn't mount mine (bolt/screw it down). I wired it and pressure fit it on top of the battery on the cab side of the terminals. The winch line is running up the body panel between the air box/fuse box and body; between the battery and body, then up onto the battery to the in-line anl fuse block; out the other side, across the top of the battery; along the front and hooked up to the positive terminal. It's not attached to anything, but is pretty solid and doesn't move. I might have done it differently, however with all of the off-road light wires, relays and in-line fuses, the area filled up quickly with wiring.

Weymouth say pressure mounted, are the side tabs of the fuse tabs under wires?

I may just use Velcro to the top of battery

Maybe pressure fit isn't the right terminology. As you can see the wire on the battery side of the fuse block is wedged under the factory wiring running across the top of the battery, holding it in place. The winch line going into the other end of the block drops off the battery and holds that end pretty solid. I was going to velcro the block down, but the bottom of my particular block is not flat, nor is the surface of the battery where I have it (raised letter print). If I velcroed it with the 3m adhesive, it would only be a matter of time before the adhesive failed.

Hope this helps,

Steve

That's where I wanted to mount mine, but the winch lead wasn't long enough to reach the fire wall and I didn't feel like a re-wire.
