Default Any security system options if your JK doesn't have power-locks?

I feel like this is a dumb question and I'm guessing no. But, is there anyway to beef up security on my JK if I don't have power-locks? A viper system wouldn't work would it? The only reason I ask is because I go to school in a very crime ridden city. Any tips on what I can do?

What does auto locks have to do with anything? Viper alarms can be used without auto locks, you just have to select the right one. Check with an audio/security installer for more info on which one to use. I hope that helps but I could be totally misunderstanding your question. Good luck.

no you got it right. I wasn't sure if you not having power locks hindered that...or made it much more difficult to make it work.

Nope, just determines what features on the alarm you will need. If you go topless/doorless alot, check into the motion sensors. Some people like them, some dont, but I consider it a peace of mind knowing that it'll scare the hell outta someone if they try to climb in.

Yeah that and the fact that I will never have a hard top I don't think would make those sensors perfect...
