Default Any way to keep recirculate button on?

With the remote start it would be nice I there was a way to keep the re circulate button on at all times.... My wife's civic does this... Just wondering g if anyone found a way to do this yet?

With it being 104 an having a two month old this would benefit me greatly!!

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it!!!

I think it turns off to take some of the load off the engine when starting. but you would think they could program the computer to turn all that stuff off for starts and on a few seconds after starting.

I wish it would turn off the AC compressor button for that very reason. When I start the engine and it's cold, sometimes the AC compressor makes a disconcerting wrenching noise.

i had an 84 diesel VW rabbit and if i had the heater turn to the ON position, it was unable to turn over. but it also had over 250,000 miles on the engine.

Interior air temperature on a Jeep that has been sitting in the sun is typically on average 10-20 degrees hotter than the outside air temperature. Seems to me that it makes sense for the recirculating button not to come on by default.

I find it cools faster without recirculating the air for 5-10 minutes. My reasoning is it blows hot air out the back vent on the tailgate.

Go feel it. Turn on the air and feel it blowing out the back.

Recirculate then so you keep getting the air colder and colder.

That is the best way to do it.
Let the hot air be expelled out the back, then recirculate.

Agree with you all but with remote start like I have.... It would be colder after 5 minutes with the recirculate on.... Oh well.... I can live with it just thought I would ask the experts!!!
