I know some may think it's stupid but I really like the feature of leaving my key in my pocket and just hoping in my Jeep and pressing "start". Has anyone taken one of these push button units from a Grand Cherokee and installed it in their JK/JKU? I did a search and didn't find anything, if I missed it I apologize and would appreciate if you could link me to the post. Thanks.

I think they're pretty cool. The first one I saw was on a Lexus.

I think I remember seeing universal push button kits on eBay. maybe try there?

I had it on my infinitis and loved it. I hate my dangling keys when I have shorts on.

Yes I've seen the aftermarket kits, I was hoping someone had tried modding the OEM parts off a GC, then using the factory GC key which is much smaller with the lack of the "key" part sticking out. I assume it's do-able, just not sure if someone's done it yet.

I have it on my current car (getting rid of it this week for my JKUR that should be in soon) and I also have keypad locks on my house so I like not having to take keys out ever, I'm hoping to mod my Rubi to accept the factory GC keyless go system.
