anyone replace abs module??
So I hopped in the jeep today and as soon as I pull out the driveway my ebrake esp/bas and ABS lights come on. I ran a scanner and came back with error code c2200 anti-lock brake module internal. Only thing I can figure is my ABS module has died on me.
Is the ABS module something I can replace or do I have to take it to the dealer? I know it has to be flashed by the dealer but wasn't sure if I could install a new one and then drive it to the dealership have programmed. The part itself is only $175 but I'm sure the dealership with totally rail me.
If anyone has had a dealership replace the ABS module do you remember how much it cost? Thanks in advance

So what did you end up having to get done? My 2008 is doing the same thing now. I have a C2200 code being thrown.
A brake shop said I need $950 in ABS Module parts between the electrical ABS and the Hydraulic portion of the ABS. Did you have to replace both?
Thanks for your input.

I have the same thing happening in my 2008 Rubi UNL.

Mine is intermittent and I also throw a ABS loss of communication code.
I recently had an ABS issue with my daughters 2001 VW and was able to send it out and have it rebuilt for less than $100. I think I will see if ours are rebuildable. It may be a cheaper option.
