Anyone using the Eclipse AVN2210p?
Yes, I have the Avn2210p MKII.
Great with the top up. Excellent reception as well.
Bluetooth works very well, at a dead stop, passengers in the rear can be heard crystal clear. Top off with window up still works, but it's not perfect.
Some things you might want to know:
1.The stock radio is held in place with a metal bracket, which must be removed for this radio to fit. It was a PITA, and I scratched the heck out of the inside of the enclosure, but worth it.
2. IF you buy the sat radio and/or Ipod adapter, there is no room to put the control boxes in the dash, mine are in my glove box.
3. There is an access point behind the radio, nearer the passenger side, that leads to the channel between the dash and the windshield. You can run the GPS and Sat antenna through there, up the plastic piece on the passenger or driver side, through the cover that protects/hides the foam near your noggin, and attaches magnetically to the support beam above the sound bar.
4. I lose my sat pre-sets every time I turn off the engine, but this is due to the fact I tapped into the wrong outlet for power.
5. BUY ANTI GLARE FILM, in direct sun, you are in trouble.
OH YES, the major issue: Crutchfield does NOT have an adapter for this radio.
I had to splice directly into my harness. IF you chose this route, DO NOT CONNECT to the CAN wires.
I'll post pics tomorrow, might re-run the control boxes then.
