Default ARB Switches Mounted On The Pillar

I searched and couldn't find anyone that had done this setup. So I thought I would give it a shot and post the pics for anyone else that was wondering about mounting switches here.
I did have to cut off the one upper "retaining clip" but I was able to leave the plastic stud that keeps it from moving side to side.

Thought I should add a picture of how I laid out where to cut the holes.
I just used a speed square to measure over a half inch from both sides of the pillar. This just gave me a straight line to measure from. The opening is 1 1/2in x 13/16in. I left 1 inch inbetween each switch (up and down). And went just a little "right of center" since there is some metal that would be in the way if you put the switches too far to the left. Then I just drilled a hole and used a jigsaw to trace the masking tape.

Default i'm an electric newb--stay with me.

ok--i'd like to give this a shot but here's my Q: where did you pull power(constant or switched) for the relay & illumination lights on the switch? when i installed on my 2 door i put the switches in the cneter stack and grabbed power there..

what's near the A pillar to pull from? or did you run a line from fuse box?

thanks
steve
