Automatic volume
Curious, is it possible to connect an automatic volume increase/decrease device like that of the Harley Davidson touring bikes. Throttle up, and so does the volume. With top off driving, custom exhaust and the hum of my tires, it is tough to hear my stock stereo, and I hate constantly adjusting the volume upon slowing down. Any suggestions, as I don't want to replace the stereo, however I'm not sure if such an aftermarket device does exist.
Plus the MBRP exhaust with the top off now, is quite loud on these stubby 2DRs.

The way that Chevy does this in their vehicles is all wrong. For this type of functionality to work properly you actually should NOT hear the changes while you are driving. The fact that you can actually hear these volume adjustments in a Chevy, tells me it's done wrong. At least the Chevy vehicles that I've heard this done in, sounds all wrong to me.
The idea behind this type of functionality, is that the adjustments made should be gradual enough to overcome the road and wind noise as your vehicle is moving, but should be gradual enough that the listener does not hear these changes...thus, it's not a good listening experience when it seems like someone is playing with your volume adjustment knob.

My old 97 Tahoe 2-door had it. Believe it or not It truly is one of those nice things you never thought you would miss or care about. If memory serves me right you could set intensity and how agressive it took charge too.

Is there a secret?

Is there a secret?
I find myself adjusting the volume all the time when driving without the freedom top. Is it a special setting?
