Default AUXILIARY problems! any advice on why?

ok so i have the stock stereo head with sirius radio. plug in the AUX cord and ipod and while the music plays this gradual popping sound shoots through the speakers! sounded like they were going to blow! i have tried 4 different cords, 2 different ipods and went back to dealer and had them put in a new radio and check everything. still does it, and the dealership refuses to believe there is a popping. and ideas why this is happening and what i can do???

Mine was doing something similar when my ipod was plugged into a charger with an aux out (Griffin Tuneflex).

After some research, I figured out that it's somewhat common and it mean the power port isn't properly grounded. Griffin makes a "noise-cancelling" aux cord that I've ordered to try out. It supposedly works perfectly according to user reviews, so I'm going to give it a shot.
