With the Bass set only on 4 all four speakers sound like when a sub-woofer is overpowered and flutters or the surround is broken. They sound terrible. It's hard to think the stock amp is overpowering them. Are they just that bad? Will some quality replacement speakers fix this problem?

What size are the front and rear speakers and tweeters?
