Default Battery drain. Blend door actuator? Clicking noise

Hi folks. 2013 Jeep jk sport. Love it.

it is winter. Working from home (covid) so not driving a lot. Battery drained. Hooked up the trickle charger and have not gotten any charge. Once we hooked up the charger tho, we heard a familiar noise - the blend door actuator (Behind the glove compartment) was cycling. So I unplugged it. (We replaced it several years ago. Cheap plastic part. Looks like it may be broken again). Anyway charged again and after awhile I turned it off and tried it again. Dead as a door nail. Which was odd as I’m pretty sure it read charged. Hooked the charger back up and now I’m getting a clicking noise. See attached video. I’m assuming that is draining the battery faster than it can charge. Any ideas? I don’t think it is one of the other actuator motors as it is not nearly as loud in the cabin (where those motors are located)

Here is the video... well, don't know where the video is. In the meantime, the noise is coming from between the battery/fusebox and the engine. I'll try to figure out posting the video later...

I'd start with disconnecting the battery from the jeep and charging there, then reattach it and take it for a spin. I've got a cheap-o trickle charger and it won't charge if the battery is dead past a certain level, so maybe that's what you're experiencing and the noises behind the glove box are just those systems grabbing what little bit of juice that they can. I've "jumped" a battery and let it continue to charge like that for a short while and it was enough to get the trickle charger to recognize it and charge it back up, but that's been on smaller lawn mower batteries.

That's where I'd start, maybe see what other folks have to say. I do know those later years (2012+) have different noises with sleep/ shut down than the earlier models. Mine doesn't make a peep. I've got a friend with a 2016 and it makes all sorts of noises under the hood when you open a door, and it has since it was new.
