Default Battery problems with trailer

SO i bought a tent trailer and it needed electric brakes so i had the dealer do the wiring and another company install the e brake module drove the trailer form lancaster to san deigo last nigh got home turned it off went to bed this AM deadest battery in the history of he world no clicks no anything . What would do that anyone one know? I think I am going to go the dual battery route now.

Just unplug the trailer when not towing it..

Have the trailer battery checked it may have an internal short

If you have a tent trailer with a battery and your hooked up, it'll pull voltage from your jeep battery. That's how the battery gets charged or if your popup has something drawing power.

Ask me how I know.....

Just unhook the cable when not towing.
