Bazooka
I am thinking about getting a powere d Bazooka. Does anyone here have that installed?
I heard some people say that it gives a pretty good kick and other say it's not powerful enough. I guess it depends on what you listen to and how big the car is and so forth.
If anyone has this, can you tell me how happy you are, what type of music you listen to, and how easy it is to remove if you need more cargo space.
Thanks in advance!

I've had a few in the past, but never in a Jeep. They definately makes some noise. Very good bang for the buck. However, I always preferred getting a separate amplifier rather than using the Bazooka internal amp. Crossfire makes a decent budget amp. The regular offenders are good for medium to higher costs, but for the ultimate thump, you want USAmps. Actually, a USAmp is probably wasted on a bazooka tube.

For those bands you like to listen to, did the bazooka give you a loud bass drum? I really need to be able to hear bass drums when I listen to music.
Never had a Bazooka, but how about a Basslink? built in 200 watts RMS amp, small, easy to connect to the factory system, thumps and booms like crazy, and it's $299.
Here's a crappy picture of mine.....

I had bass boxes in my YJ and the directional design makes for good thump. Mine were made by a European company called B&W. They were powered by a little Punch 45. As for theft, if someone wants them, they will take them, find a way. But you can make a Jeep sound good for not a lot of bux.
I used to have bazookas... one was a powered 6.5 (I think -- it was the smallest avail) and it made a reg cab tacoma absolutely rock. I listen to all kinds of music, and it made it all sound 100 times better. Then later I had a 10 inch of the cheaper variety bazooka makes (made?) and it sucked. It was swapped out the next day for the higher line of powered tubes, which was back to sounding awesome... Though the 10" was WAAAAY too much bass for me. I never turned that one up over 20%. I think if they still make the nicer line of tubes in a powered 8" that would be the way to go. unless you are looking to be a high school dude again.
