Default Best Battery and power options

2013 Jeep Wrangler U sport and I want to replace the battery and I have a negative connection that will not tighten so I will probably need to replace the terminals. I also want to be able to connect my winch, light and sound system amplifier. Looking for suggestion on battery and terminal connection suggestions.

Well David, haven't had to replace mine (2013) but there are Utube videos promoting and demonstrating. Might be worth a search. Also check the Jeep On lIne/Catalogue sellers too.

Default Terminal

I had the same issue with my negative terminal always coming loose on bumpy roads. Wouldn’t tighten enough no matter what I did. Since I have an AGM and don’t have to worry about corrosion I just used a $3 battery terminal shim. It has been tight since.

Also when you tighten a good terminal it only has to be snug. Overtightening causes the clamp to bend and close the gap in between which causes the above problems. Snnug will not let it come loose on trails.
