Default Best Place for A Subwoofer?

Is there enough space to fit a slim 10' Sub and a amp under the rear seats or will i need to find a spot in the cargo area to mount the sub i just don't want it visible if i leave the top down

theres room under the rear seats in a 4 door, but you'll have to make a custom enclosure to make it work. Theres no out of the box solution, per say, but you should be able to get it working in that location -- especially with just 1 10".

absolutely no room under any of the seats in a 2 door. Not unless you raise them up.

doubt it. Your best bet is to build a box to put in the cargo area. That's what I'll be doing. I just ditched my rear seats..they are useless anyhow, but I have a 2dr.

I suppose if you REALLY wanted to cram something down there you could. I think my point, which I suppose I really didn't make, is that even if you could fit something under the front seat -- why would you want to?

First time you get in any water you'll toast anything down there. In general you don't want an amp or speaker near any place that water will tend to pool. So that's a no to the floor basin or storage unit in the back.

you could fit one in the storage area under the seat of the 2 door. This will require some fabwork. I plan on building a box out of fiberglass to house 1 10" diamond audio shallow mount. It will have to get rid of current cover for it, and fabricate my own. This will be one of my summer projects for sure though.
