Black Diamond Fabrication makes new mounts to put dually's in stock fog light holes
I just passing this along because i think they are awsome looking ...and the fact that i love the products i have purchased from BDF ...i am not associated with them in any way ....just love there products ....so go on facebook and check out their page ....these new mounts are great and allow you dually's or d2's in you stock fog light location it also works with many other bumpers ...as soon as they are released for sale i will be putting them on my jeep and will have pictures

Now, would the D2's work as a direct replacement for factory fogs since they draw less power?

I think all you need for a plug n play install is a pair of rigid duallys and the BDF brackets and a pigtail connector to let you splice the rigid power cables
The guy developing the brackets said that he had used them both directly wired to the factory fog feed and also with a separate harness
My only question other than how soon can I buy a pair of these brackets is would it be too bright if I used the dually d2's vs the regular duallys...
I'm afraid with the d2's it will be super bright like high beams vs lights I can leave on with the low beams...

I run my "fog" lights at night all the time on low beam. It's the best way to see the damn potholes.

I hope these are available soon, & that the Dually's aren't to bright to use on road. BDF mentioned on his facebook page that he got some flicker w/his new amber dually's, running them direct. Does anyone know if the dually's can be wired like the SMS headlight harness, using the oem connector as the trigger while drawing power from the battery?

That would be a great option to have
I thought the harnesses were only available for the headlamp

It is a bit unconventional...my understanding it is one guy with some great ideas having these things made on the side...he has northridge4x4 doing all of his sales now
I got my rear light mount through northridge
