Default Blinkers acting up

I was hoping someone on the forum might be able to help me out.

A few months ago I started noticing that when I used my right blinker it would blink a few times, then blink the left once or twice, then switch back to the right. It is most common when my head lights are on, but not limited to then. I haven't noticed any problems when using my left blinker.

I did do the marker light mod about 2.5-3 years ago. I don't know if that would have something to do with it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Could it be the function that blinks two or three times if you do not push the lever all the way up or down?
When you push the lever up but not enough to engage/ click the lever all the way (the lever goes to the center) it will blink a few times to that direction and if you try to disengage the lever to the opposite direction it will blink a few times more to that direction.

It happens when the blinker is in the "locked" up position. I haven't noticed it when just tapping it up for the 3 blink.
