I'm thinking about adding blue sea battery switch for my winch..can folks show any pictures with details about how and where they mounted the switch?

Thanks

Not sure how big that is but I mounted my winch solenoid next to the battery.

I want to do a similar setup with mine, when i get one, after seeing a thread about a guys hardtop being destroyed by someone hooking his winch up to his rear bumper and destroying the hardtop.

Hahaha...that's why I did mine. Used the Warn power interrupt kit.

Did you mount the switch somewhere inside the vehicle or did you hook up to an SPOD ?

Any ideas what the solenoid is rated for? I was looking into it last year but couldn't find anything definitive on it, even on warns site.

I did run it in the vehicle and not off the sPod. The sPod uses unswitched power and I was uncomfortable with that so I ran switched power. Meaning the key has to be on for the switch to work. (I have a soft top)

No. I couldn't find much on it either. Figured it was Warn and would therefore be sufficient. Don't really know for sure but it hasn't failed on me. But I have only had to use it twice.
