Same here until I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy SIII. Now Bluetooth works like a champ. No issues what so ever.

A software update from a member in another forum. Update is for 2011 vehicles with a build date before 6-11.

While you would think that an iPad and iPhone would work identical in regards to bluetooth...they don't. So Apple makes all these changes between their different devices and it's up to all the other developers to change to make their radio work with all the individual Apple devices. So your radio came out before the Ipad 3, which means it wasn't designed to work with the iPad 3, since it didn't exist. For it to work, the developers of the radio need to go back and figure out what is wrong and try to fix it within their software...because Apple is not fixing the problem on their side, even if they are responsible for the problem.

Right now I'm part of a development team working on solving bluetooth interface problems for Apple's iOS6. Our product works perfect with iOS 5....install iOS 6 on the same Apple device and now the same bluetooth functions that previously worked, stop functioning properly and it's up to us to change. We ask Apple to fix the problem on their side and they laugh.

So everyone who currently has an iPhone keep that in mind when your iPhone prompts you that their is an iOS 6 software update available, because what's currently working today with your iPhone and your radio in regards to bluetooth connectivity is not guaranteed to work when you click on the "Yes...I would like to upgrade to the latest iOS software on my iPhone". That's the world we now live in.
Thanks for the response. That makes sense. I kinda figured it was something to do with the ipad 3 because I don't know anyone wale with the same issue. No I know has an ipad 3 though. I love apple products but they do make it hard sometimes. Since my ipad 3 isn't working now I'm kinda hoping when ios6 comes out it'll miraculously fix itself haha.
