Question Brake Switch Causing Hyper Flash?

I'd like all of your input on this because there must be something that I am not understanding!

1) Was recently working on the brake pedal and accidently broke the brake switch. The symptoms were that the passenger (only) brake lights and third brake lights were constantly on - even with the Jeep turned off. The driver tail light as a whole did not work. No turn signal, running, or brake lights. But the passenger and third brake lights were stuck on.
2) So replaced brake switch and problem solved.. partially?
3) The new brake switch was able to get the passenger and third brake lights to turn off and would only light with brake pedal depressed. Passenger turn signal = works. Passenger running lights = works. Passenger brake light = works. Third brake light = works.
4) But now the driver tail light is only partially working. Driver turn signal = hyper flash but no lights turning on... Driver running lights = works. Driver brake light = not working. Everything passenger works correctly though.

I do have LED tail lights but they have worked just fine for me for the past 2 years with no issues. I know if you Google hyper flash, it'll say either change bulbs or add a resistor but tail lights were working just fine up until brake switch replacement. I've checked fuses and all looks OK. I also tried inspecting the tail light wiring harness and I think it looks OK, but again, everything was working just fine up until brake switch replacement. I have also tried disconnecting battery but nothing changed with the tail lights.

Does anyone here have any other possible ideas? Is there a possibility that there's another electrical component that ties in the brake switch and tail lights - specifically turn signal for driver side? Is something else broken now?
