Default bumper mount IPF 968 relay location

I bought a mrbp bumper mount lightbar and a pair of IPF 968's to put on it. Looks great, but I'm not overly happy with my options for where to put the relay or the grounding lugs. Ive got the lights wired through the bar and up under the grill, which puts harness plug some where near the passenger side frame rail.

Do I drill and tap the frame to mount the relay and the grounding lugs, or is there a better place I'm not thinking of?

I would love to put the hole mess closer to the fuse box and battery, should I bite the bullet, cut the leads and extend them?

Are you using the factory harness? Should be long enough to mount the relay close to the battery / fuse compartment. This should be the prefered location!

It is no where near long enough using the IPF included harness. Would be long enough if I was doing pillar mounts, or maybe even bumper surface mount, but threaded up through the light bar, it's way too short to make it.
