Have an 09 3.8. The ac compressor seems to be stuck. Fan blows and the fuse is good. All wires around seem to be ok. Is there a relay? If so would it be? Any other ideas on what it could be other than the compressor being junk. Just troubleshooting before i go but a new compressor. Thanks!

 

With the motor off the front of the compressor should turn with moderate force. If it doesn't turn the compressor could have froze or something is impeding the refrigerant flow (expansion valve). If it turns super easy, it might not be compressing anything (no refrigerant). Best to have a professional look at it IMHO.
