Default In Cab winch contols

here is something i did to day and though i would share it.

I already had my control box under the hood,so i drilled out the pop rivets, ran new wires in to the cab and mounted my plug in for my controler. I wish i would of taken more pictures as i did this, but i always forget.
just over look all the dirt and mud.

i thought about doing switchs but i wanted to be able to use inside or outside with as much ease as possible.this way i can still control it while standing next to the winch if need be.

Nice idea. I went a similar route, only I went with a wireless remote and mounted the receiving unit in the console.

Looks good, what guage wire did you use and about how long was it. Have you used it yet? Looks like a great idea.

I went with 14 Guage wire and when all said and done they ended up being about 7 feet long. I have used it already and i can still reach my remote to my front bumper . makes it nice to not have to get out, you can make your spotter hook everything up.
