Default In cabin controls for recon winch

I'm looking to put an in cabin in/out/safety switch for my recon winch. 12vguys makes a nice switch and wire loom. I've seen a few write ups for winches with solenoid packs,,but looking for any guidance for sealed winched like my recon. Anyone have nice pics of a recon that was opened up?
Thanks
Steve

I just installed mine about 2 months ago. It has a remote. No wiring to a switch is necessary. May depend on the model though. I have the 10,500 waterproof. The only leads are for power.

The most elegant install I've seen is this -> https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-e...talled-192331/

Although it is from the12voltguy ... Apparently quality work but next to impossible to reach. Been trying to reach him for a month and half ... if you reach him, tell him to call/email me back

That's mine from before I lost my password and email for that account. :crazy eyes:

Dunno why he's so difficult to get hold of now. He was quite responsive when I ordered mine from him. The switches are definitely good quality and I've been very happy with that set. The good thing is that you don't notice it until you want to use it, at which point it's easy to reach and operate but it's not in a place where you'd accidentally knock against it and if you did that switch panel construction prevents accidental operation. My five year old never notices it, either, which is a real blessing.

I have a spare one that I bought at the same time as the other one but didn't end up using. If anyone's interested just shoot me a PM.
