Default CAN-BUS shut down circuit

My low beam circuit on my 2007 JK seems to be shut down through CAN-BUS and the ECU. How do I get the computer to turn this circuit back on? Any help greatly appreciated.

Need more info. What are you running for headlights? Have you checked the bulbs for being burned out?

If everything is stock, and it's a simple computer glitch, disconnect the battery negative terminal for a few minutes. It might reset something on the circuit board inside the TIPM.

To make a long story short. My HID harness controller (basically a relay and circuit board) went out while I was out at the store. So to get home tonight I tried to jump the low beam output to power the lights. It worked so I turned it all off and put the grill back on and when I started it back up it appears CAN-BU has disabled that circuit. So now with nothing hooked to it all all I m getting no power on my test light.

I had a hunch it wasn't stock.

Can you still connect the OEM bulbs to the harness? If so, do that and disconnect the battery negative terminal for a few minutes. Then see if the OEM bulbs will come on.

Ok I have regained power to the circuit. I hooked up both stock bulbs and disconnected negative for about an hour. Now I have power back to that circuit. Thank you very much for the help. So glad it worked!

Power is supplied from your TIPM (Totally Intergrated Power Module) to your headlamps. If the module notices higher amperage or detects a short, it shuts down the circuit to protect it from burning out its internal power supply. If disconnected your battery doesnt help you need to connect a CAN Bus scan tool and reset the TIPM after you correct the problem. Adding aftermarket equipment or extra bulbs creats the above condition. Need to install relays to add extra loads to the circuits.
