I just changed the top dash panel with one from Daystar. The instructions talked about removing the electronic compass from the old panel and mounting it to the new panel. When I pulled the panel up I saw the wiring harness for the electronic compass but of course no compass was present. If I found one could I simply plug it in and would it work? I don't even know where on the dash the compass would display.
Anyone know if the X model can have the compass added? I recently added a cruise control and I was surprised that could be done so easily, so why not add the electronic compass?
