Default Can I use the Infinity amp to power just the sub?

I installed a new head unit, 4 channel amp, and new speakers. I opted to power the speakers with the amp. I was going to get another 4 channel amp to power the stock Infinity, but I was wondering if anyone had used the amp to power just the sub? I could use the factory harness to get power and an on/off signal and then wire the sub to the amp. Mu problem is how to get a signal from the aftermarket HU?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

No that will not work.

The stock Infinity amp does not work the same as the 4 channel aftermarket amp that you bought. The stock Infinity amp communicates with the stock radio over the CAN BUS. The new radio that you bought does not have that ability. So even if you did run audio connections from your new radio to the stock Infinity amp's inputs, the signal would stop there because the stock Infinity amp needs the radio to tell it to turn on via Can bus communications. Also, all the volume controls are done inside of the stock Infinity amp which is also controlled via Can bus communications from the stock radio.

That's what it thought. Thanks
